Salem Ubuntu Hour Progress

So, originally, we started with just me and JVLB being people who attend at least fairly regularly. and then we slowly got to a point where there is 3-4 others excluding me but including JVLB most of the time. There are times where  it’s just me or just me and JVLB hanging out.

I am looking for a more suitable place than a coffee shop in the case that this gets to be a good amount of people, and Borderlands Games looks promising, I am going to call them as soon as I can.

Apart from all that, I had someone from a local tech news show that apparently also is on local broadcast stations after an Ubuntu Hour, and sadly I couldn’t come, and neither could JVLB who is helping me keep this organised. but the following week (which I was not at, but JVLB made it) there was a bit of an interview type thing from what I hear. apart from that, things usually are pretty laid back, and we just talk, sometimes helping each other out with problems we have with Ubuntu.

We usually have a device with us, I my Laptop adorned with Ubuntu stickers, and the others with whatever they choose to bring.

I usually hang out on IRC while hanging out there.
