Recognizing Supporters

I would like to take an opportunity to thank the follow Corporate and Individual Supporters of Ubuntu Oregon for their contributions and I will continue to post over time any new sponsors or contributions we get:

FreeGeek has been an excellent supporter of Ubuntu Oregon through a grant for a Laptop which we use for Demo’s at events and a Server which we will be co-locating to further our development efforts. Additionally FreeGeek has hosted one of our Bug Jams and we hope to partner with them much more in the future.

We love the folks at PuppetLabs who have always made their space available to us and often sponsored food and beverage for our community and development events. PuppetLabs is no doubt a leader among companies in Portland that are striving to grow the Open Source Community locally.

Portland State University

PSU has sponsored one of our Bug Jam events by providing a large class room to accommodate our ever-growing group and we appreciate not only the space the allow us but also the fact that a number of PSU students are heavily involved in our LoCo and that PSU will be co-locating our server.

Rentrak is an amazing company that enjoys supporting the local Open Source community and we appreciate their past contributions towards food and beverages.

Ross at Inktank has now sponsored some of our conference costs for two years in a row and we love the incredible drive that he has towards supporting the Open Source Community.

Eucalyptus sponsored t-shirts for our recent release which allow every member of our Local Community to have a t-shirt to celebrate the latest Ubuntu release.

Linux New Media

Linux New Media has kept Ubuntu Oregon supplied with Ubuntu User magazines and other amazing swag whenever we have requested.

Rackspace was our first t-shirt sponsor and has been very supportive of our efforts towards working with the Rackspace Cloud to further our goals of contributing to Ubuntu and the greater Open Source Community.

Minuteman Press

Minuteman Press is our most recent sponsor who has agreed to print a sizeable quantity of tri-fold brochures which we will be distributing throughout the state in an effort to further grow our community and further advocate for Ubuntu and Free Open Source Software.

Thank you all again for supporting Ubuntu Oregon and the Ubuntu Community!
